However the question I get asked most often by tourists is “Is the ferry between Pattaya and Hua Hin currently operating?”.
The quick answer to all the foreigners living or visiting Thailand, and to all expat that own a house in the “Land of smiles” who want to travel quickly from Hua Hin to Pattaya is “NO! Unfortunately the ferry service that connects Hua Hin to Pattaya and vice versa is no longer operational.”
The Pattaya to Hua Hin Ferry operated by the Royal Passenger Liner Company under licence from Thailand’s Marine Department stopped in 2020. The ferry service was running from Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya to Khao Takiab Pier in Hua Hin once a day.
